Snowy Sunday Vegan Cinnamon Rolls

April 14, 2014
April 14, 2014

Seeing a healthy looking vegan can be a rare sighting. It is, perhaps, on-par with seeing a Yeti, Big Foot or The Lochness Monster. While Jake and I ARE NOT yet full-fledged vegans; approximately 9 out of 10 meals we eat do, in fact, fall into the “classic category” of vegan meals; i.e. no ingredients in ‘said meal’ have a mother or come from a mother. In addition, we don’t use processed foods for cooking; our pantry is STOCKED with high-quality ingredients. But, I do believe that we could be considered one of the few healthy-looking ‘vegans’ on the market. 🙂

shop-chloeskitchenSince it’s a Sunday…and it’s snowing…we thought…”Let’s make something full of sweetness that we also have all the ingredients to make.” So we cracked open our now most favorite vegan cookbook “Chloe’s Kitchen” written by perhaps the best (and most adorable) vegan chef that has ever been born on planet Earth (Note: I cannot possibly know if better vegan chefs have been born on other planets or solar systems therefor cannot say she is the best vegan chef EVER born) the one…the only…Chloe Coscarelli.

Dear Chloe,

If you are by chance browsing 4th-rate blogs and happen to read this, thank you for all your tasty food! We love you and your tasty treats.

Love,

Jill (and Jake)

Here are some pics of the process. It was a really fun way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.
